Cricket - August 2013

Investec Ashes - 2013

England won the series (3-0).
White Wash it will be but because this is Ashes, we will keep it simple and easy "England retained the ashes".
It was a good fight from Australia but the best team won. Now its time for some more action inform of T20s.

Zimbabwe v Pakistan - 2013

Pakistan has already secured the T20 series with 2-0 victory, and Ahmad Shehzad's out class knock played the main role. But nevertheless the Pakistan's spinner also played the role. For Example: In the First T20 match Pakistan's Icon Star Shahid Afridi took 3 wickets. In the Second T20, the skipper took away the match from Zimbabwe by taking 3 wickets.

Up next in the series are 3 One Day Internationals. A chance for Pakistani players to improve their records and for Zimbabwe to strike back and show what they really got. Looking back to the India's visit of Zimbabwe proves that Zimbabwe surely do have the power to take Pakistan's world class spinners and strong bowling attacks from the fast bowlers.

The ODIs will start on 27 August and will finish on 31 August, with 1 day gap.

In the U.K, the Zee Cinema seems to be showing the tour.
